Banana Date Smoothie

Naturally gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan.
This protein-packed smoothie is quick and easy to make. It is sweetened with bananas and dates to make for a healthy breakfast or snack option.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen ripe banana
  • 1/8 cup Medjool dates (about 5 dates)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • ½ cup almond beverage any nut or beverages can be used as a substitute
  • ½ cup ice (about 5-6 large pieces)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a blender.
  • Put on the lid, blend and pour.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

To be enjoyed right away or frozen for a later date. Freezes well for 1-2 months. 
Tastes great as a protein shake too! Add 1 - 2 scoops of protein powder for best results.
